Domains and traffic
Domain validation and monthly traffic behavior.
Widgets V2 validates where a widget is allowed to run.
Domains are an allow-list
Adding a domain approves where the widget can load. The Loads column chooses
which saved configuration that domain should use.
Domain validation
Add domains without protocol and without page paths:
soccersapi.com
www.soccersapi.com
example.comBase limits:
| Plan | Approved domains |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Starter | 1 |
| Pro | 3 |
| Ultra | 10 |
| Custom | Custom |
Additional domain packs are not available as a separate add-on at the moment. If a project needs more than the Ultra limit, use a Custom agreement.
Domains can load different saved configurations. If example.com and
example.org are both approved for the same uid and widget-id, use the
Loads column to decide whether they share the same setup or use separate saved
configurations.
Editing domains
Use the Domains area in the configurator:
New domain.example.com.Add domain.Save.Loads to assign the configuration that domain should use. After adding or editing a domain, test the widget from the real website, not from an unrelated preview page.
Traffic policy
| Plan | Mode | Thresholds |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Hard cap | 80%, 100% |
| Starter | Soft | 80%, 100%, 120% |
| Pro | Soft | 80%, 100%, 120% |
| Ultra | Soft | 80%, 100%, 120% |
| Custom | Custom | Custom |
Free traffic is capped at 25K views per month. Paid plans are measured with soft thresholds so usage can be reviewed before changing plan or limits.
Traffic is counted from widget loads and activity checks. If the widget is shown on several pages or domains, all usage contributes to the account's monthly widget traffic.
